The fiscal sponsorship provided by the iron range partnership for sustainability allows us to fundraise in a non profit capacity. This resource is designed to point to any known funds relevant to outdoor learning provision or development.

A significant element of the outdoor learning sector depends on funding outside of traded business or national or local government budgets. The award breaks down into three elements 5000 from the north face 3000 and an exclusive story from ag outdoor and then 2000 worth of gear from tnf. Sources of such funding are varied and frequently changing. The kirby fund provides assistance for student members of the ledyard canoe club to participate in outdoor adventures.

Iron range partnership for sustainability irps mesabi outdoor adventures is operated entirely by volunteers as a non profit although we are not a 501 3 c. The mellon grant provides funding for student initiated undergraduate research in environmental and natural resource issues. The outdoor adventure foundation provides hunting fishing and other outdoor adventure to youth s under age 25 that have been diagnosed with cancer and other life threatening illness s oaf also provides the adventures for disabled veteran s under age 40 that are wheelchair bound or lost a limb due to combat.
