Oven Fried Chicken Yogurt Panko
I did a little change to the original recipe though.
Oven fried chicken yogurt panko. Preheat oven to 450 f with rack in middle. I added a little bit more lemon juice to the yogurt than what was called for i marinated chicken for 6 hours in the yogurt mixture and seasoned plain dried bread crumbs by myself. Place a foil rack on top of the lined cookie tray. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Get out a cookie sheet and line it with foil or parchment paper easy clean up. You wouldn t believe how close they come to the real thing. Place a slice of butter over the large part of each chicken piece. Simple ingredients like mayonnaise and honey mustard add a zesty tang and the panko breadcrumbs create a nice crispy crust.
Cover each piece thoroughly with bread crumbs and place in the baking dish. Cover with lid or zip bag and shake until panko coats chicken. Then roll the chicken in the panko bread crumbs. Combine panko and mrs.
Stir together panko cayenne 1 2 teaspoon salt and 1 4 teaspoon pepper in a pie plate. This oven fried chicken has all the flavors of the deep fried chicken without all the extra fat and oily mess these chicken thighs are coated with a seasoned panko and baked until golden brown and perfectly crisp. Serve up this chicken on a weeknight for the family as it is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Dash on a shallow plate.
